McAfee Site Review

How long does it take for McAfee to review the site?

My site has been online for over a year now.

I have submitted it for review on McAfee about 6 months back and still it shows the grey button of not reviewed.

Does that impact my SERP at all ?

I am afraid by prospects would not want to continue on a site that is not labelled green by McAfee.

Any thoughts ?

I moved this from Community Help to SiteAdvisor for better support.

To chase up a rating or to appeal one contact Trusted Source using the online web form which should take up to a week to action.  To expedite matters create an account there and log on first as email submissions take forever to be actioned.

In case you need them here are the intructions:

• 1)      Browse to www.trustedsource.org/en/feedback/url
• 2)      Recommended for website owners or anyone else who wants to be updated on the request status:  Create an Account and then Login
• 3)      Click on “Check Single URL” (since most re-evaluation requests would be for a single URL)
• 4)      Select the Product you are using – in our case choose “McAfee SiteAdvisor”
• 5)      Type in the URL you want to check
• 6)      Click “Check URL”
• 7)      Optional:  Choose up to 3 categories from the drop-down “Optional categorization suggestion:”
• 😎      Optional:  Leave an “Optional comment”
• 9)      Click “Submit URL for Review”
• 10)   If you created an Account (and logged in with it), a Ticket ID will be displayed, along with 3 options on when you will receive email (when the ticket is Open, Reviewed, or Closed)

Brit - I am here to say thank you to you.

I just followed your instructions. In about 30 mins I got an updated that my website is reviewed.

A few minutes back I saw an update that the case is closed.

I verified my site on mcafee and its gives me a green check now.

Trust me I have been wanting to get this done for the past 6 months - on and off.

Am really happy I got it done so fast. All thanks to you. I would have never been able to figure this out myself !!!
