MCAFEE IS YELLOW WHOA!! FLAGGING AWESOME HIGHLIGHTER : http://goo.gl/oHbhw

Awesome highlighter is an extremely popular means of sending a link to a page with relevant sections highlighted.

https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1GGGE_enUS395US395&aq=f&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=awesome+highl...

Its' used extensively by professors and teachers.

It's hard to believe the yellow flag "WHOA!" is warranted.

If this issue could be resolved quickly, that would be really nice.    I for one have have on my own blog numerous

Awesome Highlighter - based links.

SiteAdvisor : Green

awesomehighlighter.com - McAfee SiteAdvisor Software – Website Safety Ratings and Secure Search.png

TrustedSource : Green

http---www.awesomehighlighter.com- - Website - McAfee Labs Threat Center.png

Google Search : Green

http---www.awesomehighlighter.com- - Google Search.png

Which only leaves that Short URL, which also returns a page of Google search results, all green.

Post a screenshot if you see different.

Obviously the highlighted link provider's homepage will return green.

But its links are returning yellow.

One way I know the safety ranking as to these links is total bullxxxx is:

If I go to this:

http://awurl.com/awBFlQ0NK#first_awesome_highlight

it will be yellow-alerted.

But if I embed it into this:

http://www.citebite.com/

placing the first one into the second, with any narrative from the first highlighted in the second, it will not be blocked

Re: MCAFEE IS YELLOW WHOA!! FLAGGING AWESOME HIGHLIGHTER : http://goo.gl/oHbhw

McAfee takes too lightly the damage from this sort of thing.

Obviously as soon as some visitors run across their first yellow link

they'll high-tail out of the linking site, never to be seen again.

There's the issue of safety vs. presumption and arrogance.

It's the power of pre-emption.
