Is firefox 3.0.7 compatible with site advisor?

I was having several issues with the site advisory, even in the internet explorer. I was curious if it is compatible with firefox 3.0.7 bcuz it was causing alot of problems and i had to uninstall it.

Im also curious of a way to reinstall the site advisory....for example if i use the disc to reinstall the site advisory will it take away 1 Pc user? Is there another way to install it?
furthermore the site through mcafee to download the extension for firefox doesnt work for me at all. I click the download when its finished and it brings up a blank square with a blue frame. so there was no way for me to continue with installation. HELP PLEASE. Im already getting a bad taste in my mouth with McAfee, and I have only been a customer for 3 days!

Yes I'm using it right now. Are you talking SiteAdvisor or SiteAdvisor Plus?

Best always to download from with http://www.siteadvisor.com or from your online account which is created whenever you register a McAfee product.

If it is acting up then uninstall it in the normal manner from Control Panel/Add or Remove and reinstall after a reboot.

I can't answer for accounts, you would have to speak to Customer Service, top of page second from the left.

Blank images are usually caused by IE8, are you using it? What version of IE do you have installed? All McAfee products rely on IE for display as they use HTML.

Either that or your Windows is missing something. Check for all updates, both critical and non-critical using Microsoft Update rather than Windows Update which is the older version.

Go to Start/Control Panel/Network & Internet/Internet Options > Advanced tab and click the Reset button. Click Apply and OK.

You will now have to open the Programs tab & then Manage Add-ons and re-enable any add-ons you have. Do NOT alter any other settings.

It's important to keep Windows up to date with both critical and non-critical updates, including any that are for IE, whether you use it or not, as many applications rely on it, including all of McAfee's applications not to mention many of Windows own applications.

Beyond that I suggest Technical Support Chat linked in my signature.
