Sorry for my ignorance here, but I don't know a whole lot about this stuff. I need to find out what it is and how to stop it. Thank you all for any help!!!  I hope that I am in the right place

Sounds as if something on your Pc is doing this McAfee just protecting you

try

1 running a scan with Mcafee

2. Run getsusp (see my signature for link to free tools) and also add your email address to its preferences so Mcafee can contact you if need be

3. Install and run Malwarebytes (the free version not the trial) see link as well

see if they detect anything. Update McAfee and malwarebytes before you run them.

In addition to those Superb Tools Peacekeeper suggested to run, I would run AdwCleaner as well.

You've got Adware on your system. Running Malwarebytes and AdwCleaner is strongly advised to get rid of this adware, which does not yet have a name. There have been a number of reports recently of computers repeatedly trying to connect to ctsrda[dot]com; others are saying that all that comes up is a blank page.

Posters on Google and Mozilla were instructed to check their browsers for any add-ons that had been installed without their knowledge. Resetting Chrome browser settings and restarting the browser is also said to have cleared the pop-ups.

How do I get rid of a pop up in Fire Fox browser

The url ctsrda.com shows up with nearly every click and has no text. Also popups - Tech Support Guy

McAfee TrustedSource is blocking the site because it is involved with website/email spamming.

http://www.mcafee.com/threat-intelligence/domain/default.aspx?domain=ctsrda.com

A Sucuri scan for ctsrda[dot]com shows no information at all for this site but says the site is running on a server with outdated Apache server software, which makes it potentially vulnerable to hacking. It shows no blacklisting for the site (SiteAdvisor is not on the list).  DomainTools is more helpful here : it's on a server in California owned and operated by Future Ads LLC and the site was only registered on 12th June this year. Whoever registered the site has requested Privacy, so no details are available - always a bad sign. That server also hosts a number of other domains and according to VirusTotal and HerdProtect nearly all of them are flagged by antivirus vendors for one reason or another - especially for Adware.

http://www.herdprotect.com/ip-address-74.120.16.154.aspx

The Internet Service Provider (ISP) that owns the network address of 74.120.16.154 is Future Ads LLC and located in California within the United States. Currently there are 7 domain names that utilize this address. The primary domain hosted by this IP is d1.arcadefrontier.com along with 6 other domains which are known adware distribution web sites.

WOT does not show any information for ctsrda[dot]com but reviews of Future Ads are hostile (https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/futureads.com) and their site is rated Red.

Future Ads is run by Jared Pobre, sort-of-famous for being married to someone or other - oh yeah, Stacy Keibler - and he and it are mega-rich. The company is involved in online gaming (Gamevance) and advertising, and has been accused of bundling adware with its games programs.

Future Ads - Encyclopedia Gamia - Walkthroughs, games, guides, and more

Welcome to Future Ads a digital media platform for results-focused online advertising, app distribution and gaming monetization.

The company is also litigious - last year it tried to sue Omniangle Technologies for describing its products as "Adware". I don't think it succeeded but it certainly tried.

Well, that's probably more than you need to know. But as this was new I thought it was worth looking into. What it shows is that there's a whole army of companies desperate to make money out of computer users, by hook or by crook. Browser redirection and pop-up advertising is only the start of it.

One usually wonders how such infiltrated their system. This article created by none other than (Hayton) himself. Gives you better insight as to how this came to be:
