How to remove RED from my site

Hi,

Just found out today that my site is blocked. I still have no idea why.

It's a personal site.

I've done the verification. what else can I do now to get it unblocked?

my site is: www.littleripple.com

There's two subdomains:

xiaohe.littleripple.com

liwus.littleripple.com

Thanks,

Hello,

that warning is based on a McAfee Trusted Source detection.

I have forwarded your website www.littleripple.com to the Trusted Source team for review.

Trusted Source related Site Advisor requests can be addressed on http://www.trustedsource.org/en/feedback/url?action=checksingle .

Best regards,

Peter

Re: How to remove RED from my site

It looks like TrustedSource is calling it high risk because littleripple.com's website is "uncategorized."

I don't know that I would call it a "personal site." It is a blank page that then metarefreshes to redirect to a commercial website, and it has some javascript code that tries to execute -- presumably because you are an affiliate of the commercial site?

McAfee is running automated software to look at the html code of your site. Yours looks very much like the the sort of html code one would see on domains used by spammers. They use one domain in the spam, and that will redirect traffic to the real target. They do it because they know the first domain will develop a bad reputation because of how they are driving traffic to it, so they want to protect their real domain from being shut down or blacklisted.

I guess what McAfee needs to know is what you're trying to accomplish by doing this, and how you're driving traffic to littleripple.com. Then you need to know what methods of doing those things that they consider typical practice vs. questionable activity.

Re: How to remove RED from my site

Hello Cechoi,

sorry for the late reply - I am just back from holiday.

Your web site is now green in Site Advisor: http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/littleripple.com , same applies to the two sub domains you listed (xiaohe.littleripple.com / liwus.littleripple.com) in your post.

Based on the review of the Trusted Source Content team, www.littleripple.com has been added to the Online Shopping category, xiaohe.littleripple.com &  liwus.littleripple.com have been categorized as Blogs/Wikis. The High Risk has been removed and changed to Minimal Risk.

Best regards,

Peter
