How do I know if our website has been white listed?

Our company was blacklisted because of a website hack. McAfee said that is why they blacklisted us. However, the web developer said the website was fine. Once we took the site down emails went through. The web developer is saying the website wasn't the problem. We are concerned if we put the site back up email will get black listed again. is there anyway to tell if this will happen if we relaunch? We called McAfee and they refused to help us with anything. Which then our web developer says he can't do anything to fix the problem.  The problem has been going on since the website went up and has cost us a small fortune in IT fees, business and time.

Was it siteadvisor or siteadvisor enterprise that was detecting the issue?

When you put it up register with trusted source and get them to review the site

That is best way If you still have issues one of the mods here might be able to comment further once he can see the site.
