I'm having the same problem with trying to get my website verified.  The only way I have been able to get my sites verified in the past is posting on this forum.  Can someone from McAfee please test my website, therapyjobs360.com?  Let me know when it has been tested and verified.  Thank you!

I too am having the exact same problem, and my tech guru friends are no help.  Can someone from McAfee please look at glassblast.com?  Let me know if there are any problems.  Thanks in advance!

When submitting my site ( www.jumpstartvirtualsolutions.com ) I get:

"We cannot verify a Web site that is configured this way because it allows anyone to verify themselves as the owner of your site. Please update your Web site server configuration to return 404 status codes in the headers for pages that do not exist. Once your site is configured this way then you can return and request a file name verification."

My host is Reliable Webs and it appears they do a custom error page for 404.

Can you please check my site to see if there are any problems that would prevent me from being verified?

Thanks.

Hi.

I'm having the same problem with trying to get my website verified.

I get this even having made a working custom error page for 404:

"Error Submitting Site for Verification

It appears that the Web site uruguay-az.com (or www.uruguay-az.com) is returning an HTTP 2xx or 3xx status response code in the header of 404 pages.

We cannot verify a Web site that is configured this way because it allows anyone to verify themselves as the owner of your site. Please update your Web site server configuration to return 404 status codes in the headers for pages that do not exist. Once your site is configured this way then you can return and request a file name verification."

The only way I find to get my site verified is posting on this forum.

Can someone from McAfee please test my website: http://www.uruguay-az.com?

Could you please let me know when it has been tested and verified?

Thank you very much!
