Green tick verification for a website

I've had a website running for 4 months now but I still dont have a green tick next to my site in search engines or when I post a link to my website through social media sites. How do I go about getting a green tick?

To get a Green SiteAdvisor mark SiteAdvisor has to test the site. To test the site it has to be told the site exists by the site owner. Sounds simple, but it's a bit more complicated than that. I investigated the process of registering a site as far as I could take it and posted the procedure in a document -

Read the doc. I had exactly the same difficulty until I realised you have to log in separately as a reviewer before SiteAdvisor can start the process.

  • Safe Connect VPN:  You will receive free, unlimited access to our VPN wireless on supported devices. Users not on auto-renewal have access to 500 MB/month of bandwidth.

  • Eligibility: McAfee® Identity Monitoring Service Essentials is available within active McAfee Total Protection and McAfee LiveSafe subscriptions with identity monitoring for up to 10 unique emails. Phone number monitoring is enabled upon activation of Automatic Renewal. Not all identity monitoring elements are available in all countries. See Product Terms of Service for more information.
