RE: Getting Site Retested II

There’s also this little progress meter which moves as soon as the page loads. Hmm! And to think I was going to get something relating to their description in Google which reads: Earth shoes at wal mart where to buy Earth shoes at wal mart , Earth shoes at wal mart pictures, Earth shoes at wal mart innovations.

Blimey, it makes my site look like it was put together by Mother Theresa 😛

I’m no expert BastiaanR, but honestly, I would assume the above site is up to no good, wouldn’t you.

RE: Getting Site Retested II

I found in the database 2 references to yarraboy.com. It was queued for retesting but I don't see what happened. Please submit new feedback. There have been changes since January.

I'm still not seeing feedback in the database for roomfinder. I'll keep checking.

RE: Getting Site Retested II

Hi Raja, thanks for your response.

You will not see any feedback for a site called ‘roomfinder’ as the name of the site is mrroomfinder.com Can you please check again?

Thanks in advance Raja

RE: Getting Site Retested II

@Andii: if you look at tullolad's earlier post, you'll see he mentions that his own website is http://www.yarraboy.com. So Raja was asking tullolad to submit new feedback.

Only the last line in his post ("I'm still not seeing feedback in the database for roomfinder. I'll keep checking. ") appears to be addressed to yourself. And I think you just cleared up why he may have not found anything:

"You will not see any feedback for a site called ‘roomfinder’ as the name of the site is mrroomfinder.com"

RE: Getting Site Retested II

You are splitting hairs, Bastiaan. No matter how McAfee interprets the meaning of its red flags, to the majority of website visitors they simply mean Danger! They also imply phishing, spamming, viruses et al. In my own case, Security Advisor says my site links to risky sites. This is not so. It is been proved to be wrong and technical data has been provided to McAfee to prove McAfee is wroing. Their information refers to an earlier version, not the current one. Yet they will not re-test - nor even answer emails or site owner's comments. Wrong, wrong, wrong!

www.yarraboy.com - Please submit new feedback. Once it's in the database you should receive a response within a week.

www.mrroomfinder.com - I just checked and I don't see any feedback in the database. I don't know why it's not there. This time try submitting a "report an error". I'll keep watching for it.

RE: Getting Site Retested II

Thanks Raja, but if none of my form requests are getting through, then shouldn't the team be testing their online form rather than requesting folks keep trying to use it? I mean, you're also asking yarraboy to resubmit, so it's obviously not an isolated issue.

Btw, i do get auto generated emails which I've kept for reference to confirm my submissions! Can i also assume that each time a new request is logged, then that request goes to the back of the queue, if indeed there is a queue?

Ok, i'll post again now, but it does seem a bit daft considering everyone knows now who i am, what the site is, and what the issues are in some detail. I thought the idea of a form request was to log a problem, but as we know now what the issues are, what's to log? Hmm! Ok, i'll do it now

RE: Getting Site Retested II

Thanks BastiaanR 🙂

And this is the thing really! It's plain to the world that a 3 year old site which has obviously had a lot of TLC and time put into it is not a here-today-gone-tomorrow spammy project knocked up to trick, con, or damage its users and members in any way shape or form. It's very upsetting to think that some man or woman (or group) unknown to me, has the authority to spread warnings about such a site to the virtual world. Well, anyone but the owner of the site that is! Remember, i heard about this warning by others slagging mr roomfinder off in forums!

Still not a Dickie Bird this end from any on the SA team  other than delays and more delays in processing this Septermber 2007 request for urgent help. One can't help but wonder if they really exist! How many people comprise the SA team? What are their names? Do they have a communal department from which they work? What are their office hours? Where is their office, and who's in charge? Who's responsible for the brainchild of the SA Name-and-Shame program, this guilty until proved innocent line of attack? Not questions i really expect an answer to

The Online chat consultant said to me something along the lines of 'Don't worry Andy, someone will get back to you within 48 hours'. Oh well, i guess all i and others can do is wait, wait, and wait some more.

This SA log of mine is getting incredibly long now, with records of chat sessions, form submissions, and forum posts, and as someone who works online taking care of his 34 websites, i would be dismayed if i ever got such a reputation for lack of care and support for any of my projects. However, unless i got really sick or died during my sleep, i would never allow this to happen..ever!

Ok, fingers crossed for a resolve by the weekend.

Cheers

Andy
