Firewall blocking local UDP connection

I have been trying to use the Vovoid VZX player, but get an error saying that the client and server need to communicate on UDP 127.2.2.2 and port 22222.

Testing by turning off the personal firewall shows that is causing the problem.

I have tried to add localudp with that port to 'Ports and System Services', but that doesn't seem to work.

Anyone got any ideas?

Re: Firewall blocking local UDP connection

The setup was already as per the information.

I don't know if this makes a difference, but it isn't a problem accessing the internet, 127.2.2.2 is an internal address.

Re: Firewall blocking local UDP connection

Does it work if in the firewall settings you disable Netguard. Are any IP addresses being shown there.

Re: Firewall blocking local UDP connection

No, turning off Netguard has no effect.  There are no listed IP addresses
