Good News... I hope so...
Peter you told me I should run Malewarebytes... This is what I did
OK, good.
You have beaten me to the new version as mine is still 4.0.5.124 despite doing a complete uninstall/reboot and reinstall.
Is your problem solved cia_man?
Nope
Well I tried. I'll let others take over.
I can again support . Unnecessary entries are still present. Originally the menu only contained the entries "show site report" and "options" as it is obviously meant to be. Some months ago, from one day to another, additional entries appeared without changing any of the system settings before; so malware influence is very unlikely. As it seems the problem only concerns German versions of WebAdvisor. And as said the problem is only a "cosmetic" one; the functionality of WebAdvisor is not affected (still it's a little bit annoying, of course, to have a long list of rubbish in the menu). But if the local developers are aware of the problem, maybe the next plug-in update will bring some solution. I will hang on for that. My current version is (same as ): WebAdvisor 5.0.512.0.
We will pass this onto the techs in our call Monday.
Okay, thank you for taking care.
Support should be posting in thread
still no Fix for it
