Re: Firefox 29 and SiteAdvisor

It is now a small icon on the upper right which is what people were all asking for.....except you two?

Re: Firefox 29 and SiteAdvisor

You also realise that Firefox is different from othe rbrowsers and doesn't allow for moving of certain things?   I'll see if I can get a Tech to post about it.

Re: Firefox 29 and SiteAdvisor

SiteAdvisor is the only supplement that can never be moved. Now this correct, Yes, but I prefer the menu button is on the right side and the siteadvisor on your left.In addition there are users who would like to have it back on the bottom, using an extension, to not have so many icons together at the top

i would like to move position 1 o position 2

Re: Firefox 29 and SiteAdvisor

Actually you're right.  WoT, for instance can be moved to the Bookmarks toolbar is you wish, but not the bottom as that bar officially doesn't exist anymore.   SA remains immovable at the top right button bar.   I will ask someoine to chip in their opinion here.

I can't promise anything earlier than Monday.

Re: Firefox 29 and SiteAdvisor

I doubt I'll get an answer this weekend though so please all be patient 😉

I have added this to the agenda for our Monday conference call anyway, but did send an email to SA support as well.

Re: Firefox 29 and SiteAdvisor

Does the new Version (3.7) remove the "McAfee Safe Search" toolbar in Internet Explorer as well? Or is this only (Firefox) specific? It has always appeared in the upper left hand directly below the Address Bar, maybe I am one of the few...but I have grown accustomed to it being there.

"Safe Search" ?  Do you mean Secure Search?  I don't have that turned on in any browser, personal choice.   Maybe someone else has.

I moved the icon to the Menu Bar in mine.  Here's what my IE one looks like:

Re: Firefox 29 and SiteAdvisor

Sorry, my Bad. Yes I intended to say "Secure Search", which I (DO) use. Especially the Blocking of Malicious Links while browsing. I,ll do a restart later this morning, and check if quite possibly I have received the new Version through a Silent Update, and complete the process.

In my case, I hope the "Search Bar remains" As it is now, mine looks identical to your screenshot, however my "Secure Search Bar" is still in tact.

Well you can check your version by clicking to the right of the arrow thingy to get the drop-down menu and then click About.
