Re: False Positive: by Siteadvisor - Support isn't responding, what can I do?

The site is still blacklisted by BitDefender and SURBL

http://trafficlight.bitdefender.com/info?url=http://eyemaxplus.com.br

http://www.surbl.org/surbl-analysis

The Red WOT rating will not influence SiteAdvisor.

urlquery detects a suspicious GIF file but does not name it

Apart from any third-party blacklistings which may affect the TrustedSource rating (and therefore the SiteAdvisor rating) the site cannot be considered as Safe because it is running under an old and unsafe version (1.5) of Joomla -

eyemaxplus - joomla version.png

The latest version is 2.5.16 -

the recommended version for existing Joomla 1.6-2.5 sites

See

http://www.joomla.org/announcements/release-news/5518-joomla-2-5-16-released.html

http://docs.joomla.org/J2.5:Migrating_from_Joomla_1.5_to_Joomla_2.5

Until the latest version of Joomla is installed the site remains at risk of being further compromised; if the site were to regain a Green rating and then be compromised again as a result of using an outdated CMS the Red rating would remain in place for longer before a Green rating were re-instated.

As just noted, if the site has already been compromised but has now been cleaned the SiteAdvisor rating will not be immediately changed. This is clearly stated on the SiteAdvisor Webmaster page (http://www.siteadvisor.com/webmasters).

Because this is a re-rating after a site attack, you should submit a re-rating request to either SiteAdvisor or TrustedSource.

For SiteAdvisor :

To begin, please submit your rating dispute via email at support@siteadvisor.com or online.

http://www.siteadvisor.com/userfeedback.html

During the evaluation of this dispute, McAfee communicates with site owners via e-mail.

For TrustedSource, go to the TrustedSource page for your site, register with them, identify yourself as the site owner and get a ticket number.

http://www.mcafee.com/threat-intelligence/domain/default.aspx?domain=www.eyemaxplus.com.br

- click on 'Dispute a URL or classification'. On the next page enter your site name and select 'SiteAdvisor'. Don't forget to register (section bottom right).
