It was the spinning wheel beside my cursor that was driving me crazy. In Event Viewer I saw countless of application crashing events related with UIHost.exe which is part of WebAdvisor.

Had to go to services and disable the service named "McAfee WebAdvisor".

same problem same workaround.

However after a reboot, webadvisor was magically reinstalled, and I had to uninstall it again.

Also windows 11 was flooding network sending network sending crash reports to microsoft. every second. had to disable windows error reporting service to get system stable.

Same. Is started this morning. I couldn't get any work done all day. It causes my cursor to spin a wheel which is very annoying. Please help.

Hi: I just had this issue, the message about McAfee Webadvisor user level process has stopped and I couldn't remove it even if I restart the PC. But I find the suggestion about remove the Webadvisor from Chrome extensions and the message disappeared.

I hope this idea is useful

blessed day

I'm having this same problem for several hours now - "...WebAdvisor has stopped working...close the program".  I couldn't find any way to close it so removed the program, rebooted and the message is still there.  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome, then reinstalled WebAdvisor - the message box is still there and it sits on top of any window I have open.  It's driving me crazy.

Same here. Noticed it today since the cursor busy wheel wouldn't stop spinning. The error happens once a second. There are thousands and thousands of them in my Event Viewer.
I don't even use the WebAdvisor browser extension 😐
