Are you sure League of Legends installer is a dangerous download?

WebAdvisor keeps warning me against this download: https://riotgamespatcher-a.akamaihd.net/ShellInstaller/EUNE/LeagueofLegends_EUNE_Installer_2016_11_1...

Seriously, this is the installer of League of Legends... Linked from their official page leagueoflegends.com Are you sure warning against this download is justified?

Maybe best to submit the file for review

Submit a Virus or Malware Sample | McAfee Labs

You should get an immediate reply post the analysis number here and it no fix in 3 days post back and we can get an escalation .

Of course if WA detects something and the submission does not you need to contact support and or we contact the WA team as well.

Oh I downloaded it fine from the other site the poster on boards.euw.leagueoflegends.com suggested after you also posted there

You could always bookmark http://www.virustotal.com​ where you can scan your file using using all the major scan engines in one go.

Sure makes you feel safe when they all give your file a thumbs up.

  • Safe Connect VPN:  You will receive free, unlimited access to our VPN wireless on supported devices. Users not on auto-renewal have access to 500 MB/month of bandwidth.

  • Eligibility: McAfee® Identity Monitoring Service Essentials is available within active McAfee Total Protection and McAfee LiveSafe subscriptions with identity monitoring for up to 10 unique emails. Phone number monitoring is enabled upon activation of Automatic Renewal. Not all identity monitoring elements are available in all countries. See Product Terms of Service for more information. 
  • Your subscription is subject to our License Agreement and Privacy Notice. Product features may be added, changed or removed during the subscription term. Some features may require registration and a valid ID number to activate. See System Requirements for additional information.
