This questions has been asked on multiple forums and multiple sites and still no resolve.
We cannot verify a Web site that is configured this way because it allows anyone to verify themselves as the owner of your site. Please update your Web site server configuration to return 404 status codes in the headers for pages that do not exist. Once your site is configured this way then you can return and request a file name verification.
That is the message I am getting when I try to verify my website: http://www.IndianDJNJ.com.
I am pretty sure an expert is going to pick this up and magically going to make this go away. I want to know how I can do it myself. If this is a McAfee problem then just say so. Create a submission form for clients having trouble verifying and make it efficient. I had to create 2 different accounts to get to this discussion board, don't you think this is a little ridiculous.
Please answer the questions and give other users some relief. Thank you.
Usually a mcafee tech fixes the site but how and why this is happening is above me. I will ask
