Netguard is last section disable it. (note is any coneections shown there as well)
Also have the same problem. I Have Dell, Xp and uses Chrome.
Have now turned Net Guard off as you recomended. If the problem is not solved anyway I let you know.
Is there any risks involved by turning Net Guard off?
/Henrik (from Sweden)
When I know is on the intenet I feel that when Net Guard is off the net feels ''faster', like Net Guard was slowing down my connecteion with the internet.
Well i prefer not disabling it but Mcafee only added this last version so without it you should be safe. The techs when asked by posters here suggested it to be turned off so do it and I will keep every1 updated when I hear anything
I'm having the same problem and I think it started with my installing FF8. I've already talked with Support and they deleted a few McAfee files he called "Hacker files", they said they were old versions and cleaned my temp folder. The problem still occures. I have been told by Support that FF8 is not supported by McAfee at this time. So I deleted it. The problem got better but did not go away.
I am reluctant to have support fish around with my system again until I learn that others have actually had a fix.
To say again what is wrong is that this error occurs when I'm using IE8 on XP-SP3 at various intervals during a internet session.
