Re: Virus Scan Plus (2009) freezes indefinitely at the 96% complete point

Steveo46,

I never get a Summary. Well, I used to get one about 4 months ago. Do not know what happened after that that caused my problem. Thanks for reply.

Re: Virus Scan Plus (2009) freezes indefinitely at the 96% complete point

I finally let the scan sit there for 4!!! hours and it actually made it through the entire FULL scan 100%...the first time in a long time. So my suggestion is, try a scan, and when it reaches the "freezing" point, just let it sit there...thats what seems to have worked..today, at least. Good Luck all!

Re: Virus Scan Plus (2009) freezes indefinitely at the 96% complete point

When my scan reaches the HKU.....(I think that's where) I start seeing files which at first I thought were the blocked ones, or perhaps from my antispyware: spybot and ad-aware. They sometimes have words like "porn" (something or other) as they are being scanned. If not my computer on it's own has been going places it shouldn't have been. I am the only user and I don't go to a lot of sites. Not sure where these porn sites enter into the scanning.

Hi  Big-Orange,

When my scan completes I alaway's get a final summary. You need to see that informatiion. That is the point of running a scan.I have no idea why you are not getting the summary when the scan completes.I don't have a clue.I am also having alot of issues with this version.Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Good Luck,

Steve
