Upon installing McAfee Total Protection it detected Malwarebytes Anti-Malwarebytes and prompted me to uninstall it which I did. After the successful installation of McAfee Total Protection I re-installed Malwarebytes and ran the program. Malwarebytes detected the following:
PUM.Disabled.SecurityCenter Registry Data HKLM\Microsoft\SecurityCenter/AntiVirusDisableNotify
PUM.Disabled.SecurityCenter Registry Data HKLM\Microsoft\SecurityCenterFirewallDisableNotify
Is this because McAfee disabled Microsoft Security Center and is not a real threat?

Yes and you can ignore it or tell Malwarebytes to stop detecting it.
There are a number of threads at the Malwarebytes forums and elsewhere about it.
