The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process

I am getting this message from a software development IDE (Arduino), when I try to compile. If I stop real time scanning, I have no problem. The IDE puts the file in a temporary folder, while compiling. The first time I compile is OK. But following tries will not work, I get the error message 'The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process'

I posted this 3 weeks ago and after a week got the answer:

Please follow the article How to exclude files from VirusScan scanning instead of turning off the Realtime scanning everytime.

This was no help, so I answered back:

My problem is a temporary file with different names for every build (new build number is part of the name), that the development environment creates in a temp folder. The temp folder is the same every time. I can not exclude a folder.

I never got an answer. So now I try again.
