Send suspicious files to McAfee for analysis?

Hi,

With the update of 16.0 R43, I noticed a new option in Antivirus, which enables McAfee to send suspicious files to specialists for analysis in order to improve virus protection efficiency.

Send for analysis (Chinese version)

I am curious about this feature and want to know how it works.

We would like to inform  you that is intended for users who suspect undetected malware on their computer which help us to understand and eliminates the need for deep technical knowledge of computer systems to isolate undetected malware. It does this by using a combination of heuristics and querying the McAfee Global Threat Intelligence (GTI) File Reputation database to gather suspicious files.

Is this process automatic and silent? Or I will be notified when McAfee detects something suspicious to submit? Thanks.
