Peter,
I have seen how the QuickClean and Defrag jobs are scheduled in the Windows Task Manager area, so I think it would just be a matter of ironing out three things:
- Finding out the full path name of the VirusScan executable
- Finding out if/what parameters to code the scan job with
- Code the entry using the other two as models
Just because it does not happen right now, doesn´t mean that it is not possible. They probably just did not think about it. And as a consultant, I have seen many instances where we figure out to make things work, even if they are not supported.
Technical support people and purists like me don´t really go for it, but I have seen it time and time again, specially when in the end you are obtaining some competitive advantage, like performance.
