Root kit

When doing a full scan on my laptop (windows 😎 the scan stops at 98% with "scanning rootkit" but does not complete the scan.  I have used  Stinger but this did not show up any problem.  Does it take a long time to complete this last 2% or is there a problem.

Re: Root kit

There is a fix for this coming in an update some time in the future but if you follow this FAQ below  it should fix the issue. By the way it should say Scanning for rootkits the way it is worded gives you a bad vibe doesn't it?

We mods have passed this worry up the line and the wording might change in a later update.

Re: Root kit

Hi dizy,

After following instructions in the Knowledge base article you might need to Restart the machine and run a Quick Scan to verify if it is fixed.
