PE_ROM.dll is recognized as Virus (this must be wrong)...

Hello,

under C:\Windows\ the file PE_ROM.dll is recognized as a Virus everytime I restart my PC...

The file is a dll-Source for ASUS Utilities...

-> This can't be a Virus...

Is there a possibility to send this file to McAfee, so that the workers there can fix this wrong Message of a Virus?!

I see that file has been detected by many antivirus engines over the years, it must be something to do with the way it's written.

You can either email it in zipped and password-protected as instructed or use GetSusp (assuming the file is still intact) but make sure your enter your email address into Preferences/Settings first so they can get in touch.

Yes that means the labs have it, and hopefully they will clear it.  The process can take several days.
