No email with 13.

My mother has updated to a new version of McAfee and now she is unable to fully download her email using Eudora. When downloading her email she gets the date and time and nothing else. I also tried using Outlook with the same results. I have seen where past versions had similar issue but nothing for 13.
Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Please clarify,
What is the version of Operating system you use?
How do you connect to the internet (DSL, Cable or wireless)?
Did you made any changes to the computer in the recent past?
Steps:
Run the MVT {http://mvt.mcafee.com/mvt/default.asp} on your computer and post the Session id you get in this thread.

All seems well now but I will give details anyway.

She is running Windows home, connecting via DSL. She says that she had a trojan and bought the new update for McAfee and all hell broke loose.

After running the program that you linked to it said that there were files missing in McAfee. It gave a link to a web page of how to uninstall. So I uninstalled, reinstalled, updated and configured it and now all is well. The only thing that I know that I did different was to do a custom install.

  • Eligibility: McAfee® Identity Monitoring Service Essentials is available within active McAfee Total Protection and McAfee LiveSafe subscriptions with identity monitoring for up to 10 unique emails. Phone number monitoring is enabled upon activation of Automatic Renewal. Not all identity monitoring elements are available in all countries. See Product Terms of Service for more information.
