My real time scanning won't stay on. I've tried to repair it with Mcafee virtual technician, Combofix and Malewarebytes and nothing worked. I've also tried to reinstall McAfee suite and it didn't work.
Can anyone help?
P.S. I have tried customer chat as well, but when I have to confirm e-mail address I can't put @ sign into the address.
So did you have a trojan?
No other AV installed concurrently or previously?

The @ issue symbol does ring a bell.
Is this a non english keyboard thought @ was a standard symbol.
You could try Chat (offerred same page) with a country that has a language you can type in.vis this I remembered thought it rang a bell. Try it and call/chat with Tech support.
Thank you for advice, but I solved the problem. I just changed keyboard layout from slovenian to american layout and then @ letter appeared when I pressed combination (SHIFT and number 2):o . I guess there shold be advice on the McAfee support page that european customers should change their keyboard layout before they enter email address and also key combination should be posted. :rolleyes:
Thnaks for reporting the problem with real time scanning. I have exact same problem. The two fixes offered by Mcafee and the moderator (run MVT, run OAS-DISABLED-FX.CMD) don't work. I have a win 7 laptop. I have already wasted 2 hours on this. Any suggestion is welcome. Thanks!

RTS off can be a virus cause. The next thing is a full reinstall but better to call support and ask them.
