My program removed from exclusion list after I recompile it

I added a program I have written to the exclusion list, but every time I recompile it I get a message from McAfee that is has been removed and I need to add it again.  As a software developer, this is driving me insane!  Do you know how many times a program is recompiled and tested during development?

How can I keep McAfee from making me constantly re-add my program to the exclusion list?

P.S.  Before I added my program to the exclusion list, McAfee was deleting it with no warning, so I must keep it on the exclusion list.  This situation is intolerable.

Hi @RoyFulbright

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Please follow the article to submit software for whitelisting.

Re: My program removed from exclusion list after I recompile it

Unfortunately, the article you refer to describes the steps I have already taken.

The real problem is McAfee removes my program from the exclusion list each time I change and recompile it. (see attached screenshot of McAfee message)

As a software developer this is unacceptable, since the program will be changed and recompiled many times during development.

Please provide a means to tell McAfee to leave this program (or an entire directory) alone.

Re: My program removed from exclusion list after I recompile it

I just received an email asking me to select an answer to my problem as a solution, but unfortunately no solution has been provided in any of the responses.

I followed the instructions in the latest reply but that did not result in a resolution to my problem.  What I did receive was an email from McAfee with a request to contact them via a number that makes no sense (see the number in their response below).  It is not a valid phone number:

"For the current issue, we request you to contact our global Technical Support Team @ 1800 3000 2656."

I replied to McAfee asking about the number they sent and McAfee replied asking me to send them my screenshot and the program in question, which I did (BTW, McAfee never explained the weird number they sent me).

Since then, I have heard nothing more from McAfee.

Re: My program removed from exclusion list after I recompile it

Please provide a way to keep McAfee from removing my program from the exclusion list and then deleting it when I modify and recompile it.  I am a software developer and recompiling/testing happens many times, and I am spending more time fighting with McAfee than I am getting my work done.

Please provide a fix for this ASAP.
