I'll send yet another message to them.
Hi deathstalker It would be more helpful if you could post the following screen shots.
1) List of all installed programs in the control panel's "Uninstall a program" window.
2) Available Virtual memory
3) List of add-ons in the Manage add-ons window of IE 10
4) List of Events prior to and post the failure.
These info will guide us finding a clue.!
Sorry for the late reply as I have not experienced the problem again since then. But strangely though, 2 days ago, the problem happened again, but it was after I purposely disconnected my internet connection and reconnected several times in rapid succession (within minutes) as I was trying to get a new IP from my ISP (I was looking for a faster connection).
It seems that, sometimes I can replicate the problem by doing this on purpose, disconnecting the internet (using the router setup) and reconnecting several times.
Selvan, thanks for your reply. I also want to bring to your attention of another recent problem I discovered with the Real-Time Scanner. It may or may not be related but it's also about OAS or Real-time scanner. It's about Real-Time Scanner using more CPU resources now than usual, slowing games down significant enough to show graphic stuttering. More details in the link below:
To date, the problem has not recurred. So I assume the case is solved, but I do not know which update or what action taken by McAfee fixed this though. Seems like it resolved on itself. Thanks for all who had tried to help.
