McAfee version API

Hello everyone,

I am currently building a reporting tool software, and I'd like to have some kind of API where I can get the latest version available for McAfee VirusScan to determine wheter a user is up to date or not.

I searched on the web this kind of product but didn't manage to find something. Is there this kind of product available somewhere ? Or if not, is there a release-note page on McAfee website I could parse ?

We're sorry to inform you that we don't have an option to provide McAfee API. Generally, we help users by providing McAfee software to dowload it from the website portal after user purchase a subscription where can be downloaded post login to the website. The release notifications woudn't be available on the websites. However, when user intalled McAfee on the machine if there is an update, it gets automatic updates to keep the software up to date.
