McAfee for QNAP NAS does not scan any files or folders



I have installed McAfee for my QNAP NAS und scheduled a daily scan to cover for all files on all folders (also tried with *.docx and just one folder) and it will never scan any files or folders as per the report; which is not a surprise with scanning time 4 seconds for 3GB of data...

Does anyone have any idea what to do, maybe a kind of guidance to amned my set-up for this scan.

I have this issue as well. a weekly scan when working takes 4.5 hours on my QNAP NAS. and this was fine up to about 6 months ago. now the scan will only work for 2 or 3 weeks in a row, then will take 3 seconds to complete the scan (not working). After rebooting my NAS twice, all is well again for another 2 to 3 weeks.

I am using QNAP TS473 NAS running QTS

When the scan fails, the dat version recorded on the log is 0.0
