MacAfee AGENT, what is it? Is pc protected?...

Hi,  I was configuring a router for my sister and while checking her laptops for connectivity I noticed one of the laptops said Microsoft could find NO ANTIVIRUS software.   Yet when I looked at Programs, it showed Macafee Agent.  Anyone know what this is?  The laptop is corporate-owned  & her hubby uses it for work.  I'm confused  : (    Is this perhaps some kind of corporate version of MacAfee protection for his computer?   Is it protected from infections?  TVM!!

McAfee (note spelling) Agent is part of an Enterprise product and support for it is through a special corporate portal or elsewhere in the business section of these forums, but that would depend on the name of the actual McAfee product installed, which should be listed in Control Panel > Programs.

I can't advise you further unless you give me a name for the installed McAfee software/programme.
