If I click on a Mcafee pop up scam do I have a virus?

So recently I’ve been seeing the Mcafee pop up scams which have been worrying me.

When I pressed “download” from a popular website, I was redirected to an empty web page with a download which always happens and then I decide to just exit out.

After I did that, though, I got the fake Mcafee pop ups and I may or may not have clicked “scan” on one, which I did, but I wouldn’t buy anything https://routerlogin.uno/.

Since I clicked on it, do I have a virus? Or maybe the redirect from the website gave me a virus because I did press allow for the blank page which was really stupid because it was asking if I was a robot and in order to clarify I needed to press allow.

I also checked in my apps and programs (all of them) and didn’t notice anything suspicious, then I checked in my chrome extensions and deleted a few things that I did not want and I also went to settings and found the fake website and I blocked notifications and removed it.

Are the fake notifications just scams tk make money or do they install a virus on your computer when visited?
