The link you sent directs me to ServicePortal. This is the same portal I've used to create the original SR.
I used this EXACTLY portal to send the Sample.

maybe if you visit this mcafee support website you can contact live support for assistance and help you on your way ?............
in the middle of the page there is on the right side that says; contact support and click on this and a new page will open ect.
if you click for technical assistance for instance a new page will appear and on the left side there is a choice for chat or phone when available........
will this help you on your way perhaps ?

unfortunately I got the same empty answers: To send another email, to send an email with NOAUTO on the subject line, etc.
It seems the lab team is unreachable and McAfee has no interest in support the customer.

if you visit this page on the last section that is named Threat education you see on the right side in purple colour ; provide feedback
below that you see for example; dispute a detection or submit a virus or malware sample ect.
could this help you on your way perhaps ?
or when you have facebook or twitter ect. you could use perhaps the icons below from this page to get in contact ?...........

Aparently Dispute a Detection is to the oposite case (i.e: when you have the antivrus blocking a good software).
Submit a Sample is the link where I got the information to submit the initial case.
