Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

This is to keep you informed on the version 16.0.113 its a known issue and McAfee aware of it. We are working towards the resolution on this issue. For more information on the fix, please find the below article.

McAfee on-demand or quick scan is stuck and won't finish

I read the article on doing a custom scan. So I tried it on a single folder and it worked. Then I tried it on my E: drive that has 60GB of info and it stopped working at 1%. The only good thing is that this procedure did not lockup my computer.

I do still have the same problem, every time I run a full scan stops at 99% and does not finish the scan.

I dropped this software because of all the problems. I just use the Windows protection, and it seems fine.

Hi @Jucaro 

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

Its a known issue and it got fixed in the latest version 16.0.R116. Kindly confirm whether you have updated to the latest McAfee version. If issue still exists, kindly respond back to the private message about the issue resolution.
