I have 2 pcs with Windows 7 Pro SP1, when i am doing full scan one of the PC failed and Error message popup "Cannot communicate with the scan service". Can anyone help how to troublehsoot this.

Microsoft no longer supports Windows 7.x, Windows XP, or Windows Vista. Your PC could be at risk from new threats if you’re using any of these Windows versions. McAfee strongly recommends that you upgrade your PC's operating system to a newer version as soon as possible.

I have 7 Windows 10 Pro PC's in a network environment, with McAfee, which is provided by COX Communications, installed on all of them.
A few weeks ago on one of the computers I received the "Cannot communicate with the scan service" message when attempting to run a scan. I performed a windows system restore to a previous date and that corrected the problem.
Now I have another PC with the same issue. I ran a system restore back to the first of last month, but this time the error still pops up.
What should I try next?
