For some reason I cannot get McAfee Total Protection to schedule a scan to run at ANY time.
Windows 7 x64
Scheduled Scans set to Off.
Click 'Turn On' button
Shows "Next scheduled scan: undefined"
Apply button in Schedule Your Scans section is greyed out
Select 'Set my own scan schedule' radio button
Set a time/day/etc.
Click 'Apply'
Nothing happens
Any ideas?

I had the same problem with Total Protection on Vista 32, but not on XP. Then I thought throught the difference... User Access Control !. So I ...
1. Disbled UAC via MSCONFIG/Tools
2. Reboot
3. Tried McAfee Security Centre, Scheduled Scan and found YES.. it was now defaulting to ON and I was able to set my schedule.
4. Enabled UAC via MSCONFIG/Tools
5. Reboot
6. Settings remained on and even adjustable without need to disable UAC again.
Obviously a McAfee dispute with UAC, yet again. Small coding glitch to pick up.
I Hope this helps others.
