Can not get real time scan to turn on

I have a yr left on my paid for subscription which was 2 yrs long

Ive just updated my system to a

M3N72-D asus mother board with sli tech

With a gigabyte hd 5770 graphics card

Im running a brand new copy of windows 7

my main browser is chrome but i have IE8 there to

The problem i having is that every time i hit turn on Real Time scanning it turns its self back off within 2 seconds

Everything else seems to be working

Just to update the situation ive now run the virtual tech program and it says there is nothing wrong.

Unless you want to try a complete uninstallation via Control Panel/Programs/Uninstall a Program and then run the MCPR cleanup tool via Useful Links above, reboot and reinstall from your online account, I suggest contacting Technical Support Chat also via Useful Links above.

Also , make sure that the system doesn’t contain any other security software’s files & folders.
You could check this under the below locations;

Click computer – click C:-click program files
