Can TIFF files become infected?

We are looking at what to do with TIFF files. Do they need to be real time scanned? or excluding would be fine?

Re: Can TIFF files become infected?

Hi gengstrom,

Normally, McAfee does scan all files formats until and unless they are excluded , But according to let the file undergo scan is no harm as malicious code developers might find a new type to infect fiels though whatever way it is !!!!
