After a two month absence and not using my desktop which uses Windows 10 all PDF and .exe downloads are being automatically deleted with the message that they contain viruses. Help please.

We are sorry that downloads are being deleted automatically.
This problem could be because of WebAdvisor which was not updated for a long time. Please follow the below instructions to uninstall and reinstall WebAdvisor.
Open Control Panel -> Programs & Features/Uninstall or Change a Program.
Find McAfee WebAdvisor and Right Click on it . Click on Uninstall.
Once the removal is complete, go to https://siteadvisor.com/ to install WebAdvisor.
Try downloading PDF and EXE files. If the issue still persists, please reach us back.

I've had such situation in the past, with my ebooks in PDF format.
