True Key app install fails

I have windows 10 pro and I tray to install True Key app but it fails.! I running the MCPR tool and I restart the pc, but stil the problem persit.
Only the Extension work fine in my browser chrome.

Good morning Paolo,

I am not sure I understand what is failling, if you are going through the Chrome browser to install True Key, you are installing the extension first which will open only through the browser, this is not the desktop standalone app.

Let me know if the extension works as expected because we will be phasing out our desktop app for the benefit of the extension first mode which will be more performant and reliable.

I just tray to install app True key from link https://www.truekey.com/it/downloading.

I can download the file .exe and start the installation, but in the end I get this message: "There was a problem during the installation. Please try again"

So going back to your original post, if you go to the Chrome browser and from there you go to the www.truekey.com website to download the app, you will be effectively downoading the extension first mode to be used only in the browser and not the standalone desktop app.

Without desktop standalone on my pc I can not activate 2 Factor authentication by face!

Good morning Paolo,

Try the following link: https://truekey.com/download , as I said you can for now downloaded and used but we will be phasing out this mode to only use extension first. Timeline when this will be done is still undetermined.
