True Key add-on Firefox 48.0.2

Jump to solution

Every time I try to download the add-on I get "The add-on could not be downloaded because the connection failed".  I have disabled my antivirus, allowed permissions to add add-ons to Firefox and the add-on itself.  Chrome installs fine, but I mostly use Firefox.  I am on Windows 10 Pro with  Anniversary update.

Hi Duncan,

Please try the following:

- Open another browser than Firefox

- Download https://downloads.truekey.com/firefox... to your desktop

- Open Firefox and visit about:addons

- Drag the xpi file inside Firefox and say yes to the installation prompts

Let me know if it works after that.

Thanks,

MarcD

As far as I recall you simply install it from your online account, or add the feature via SecurityCenter > Navigation > Features if available there.

It then adds for all compaible browsers.

Perhaps Technical Support can help, it's free:  Technical Support/Customer Service
