Passwords created in Android App appear corrupted in Edge/Chrome App

Hi, when I tried to create a password in the Android app, the content viewed in the Edge browser appears corrupted, with additional characters added. The attached screen capture from Edge shows additional box characters after every special character.

When I try to log in from Edge the password is not recognized. BUT, when I copy the password and paste it the correct password, minus the extra characters, appears normally.  

I am using Android 10 and my app version is 5.2.2.2.

Hi @pschom41 

Please let us know if the password that you have entered is a auto generated password or is it manually created. Also try to reset the password once and enter with out copying it in anyone of the browsers.

The password was generated by True Key when I created the account. I don't understand what you want me to reset - the password for the website account?

  • Eligibility: McAfee® Identity Monitoring Service Essentials is available within active McAfee Total Protection and McAfee LiveSafe subscriptions with identity monitoring for up to 10 unique emails. Phone number monitoring is enabled upon activation of Automatic Renewal. Not all identity monitoring elements are available in all countries. See Product Terms of Service for more information.
