My mother is using this product on her Win10 laptop, and she seems to have to get a repeat facial ID every time she visits a new site to fill in her credentials-- this doesn't make sense. She should only have to authenticate once per session or once per login. Is she doing something wrong, or is the product really that paranoid?
Thanks in advance.
Hi there,
What is the type of browser she is using, if she is using Edge please make sure that Edge settings is not made to "clear the cache upon exiting the browser".
Let me know what happens, if this is not it, provide the TK version as well as the True Key browser extension version.
Thanks,
Marc D.
Thanks. The version number at the bottom of the TrueKey application sign in screen is 4.19.108.1
The browser extension is True Key™ by Intel Security, 1.35.2.4942. on Firefox 56.0.2.
The problem seemed to be related to a specific site. Right now the app is working as expected, though it's not clear sometimes whether the password is remembered by TrueKey or by the browser. Sometimes we get the "TrueKey is automatically logging you in" banner and sometimes we don't. Anyway, yesterday she was doing facial recognition over and over again but I guess TrueKey was not able to open the site. This was MyScripps, which is a health services site.
Anyway, for now it seems false alarm. thanks.
I am g;ad it is better now. It is always a good idea to turn off the "password remembering" capability that some browsers has so it does not get in the way with True Key. Also, sometimes websites make changes on their page which makes the automatic login for True Key to break, if this ever happens you can tell the specific URL and we can check if it needs to be optimize again for TK.
Thanks,
Marc D.
