For 2 months now, maybe more, I cannot access my Google Drive files which I need for my remote work. Any file that is a doc, excel etc. from Microsoft Office, real time just blocks me from opening them. So my "solution" was to disable the real-time and do my work! Every day for 2 months. There is no solution anywhere and me disabling my antivirus software is clearly unacceptable.

I have the same issue. "Sorry for the inconvenience and we're working on it" has been the same response for the past 2 months! I don't understand why this problem has not been corrected by now. We are all having to work without security and this workaround is totally unacceptable. We need protection. I work for a nonprofit and there are 8 of us working this way.

i have asked about status for this issue and answer is for now that Engineering is working to solve the problem. no new update currently present.
We can only give workaround as per article TS103216 for the time being.
