Hi,
I try to reinstall my product and during unistallation an error occured and since then i cant install it again. Every time i am try to run the app it says: restart your device to complete unistall so we can install your new protection.
I try the following actions:
1) removal tool (mcpr tool).
2) pre-install tool
3) clean all temp files and all files associated with McAfee manually and with CCleaner.
I am using windows 7 ultimate sp1. Any suggestion?
Thank you.

Hi @Karthik_K
I use the quide so i manage to bypass constant restart requests and after two installation attemps that lead to force restart due programm hang and the use of MCPR tool the third attempt was successful.
Now i face a diffent problem:
1) Double clicking on McAfee icon doesnt work and plus no icon at taskbar making security center unaccessible.
2) McAfee firewall core service isn't running (it set to manually for some reason) and despite that windows sees that firewall is working.
3)Mvt is unable to recognise any problem.

Hi @Karthik_K,
I did what the quide mention and change the registry key value from UNDEPLOYABLE to COMPLETE.
Everything seems to work perfectly now. Thank you so much. I will keep the link for further help if needed again.
I am still wondering why the service: McAfee Firewall Core Service at C:\Program Files\Common Files\McAfee\SystemCore\mfefire.exe is off and is set to manually start. Should i worry about that?
Thank you again.
Hi @lefteris
That is by design and it will not affect McAfee functionality, so don't worry about it. McAfee is still protecting your computer.
