It's unfortunate that you didn't get a reply after so many months.

I disline this UI too. I preferred the previous UI of McAfee, but they haven't been good for a long time.

The current UI trend has been to force users with large monitors, keyboards and mice into accepting UI for tablets and iPads. Sure these designers can have two interfaces, one for such handheld devices but another one for desktop users. It could be applied automatically, or user-selected.

It really is lazy and anti-consumer to keep on providing these extremely limited interfaces and they hit productivity badly. I hope that McAfee wake up and provide a much better interface. soon.

Regarding this screen I emailed them 4 years ago I copied that email to many people. They promised they will work on it but it has not happened so far.

My total protection just updated to a new UI (user interface). My only comment is it really sucks. They need do bring back the previous interface.

The latest interface update is an improvement upon the prior version, in my opinion and experience of 30+ years of computing and UI. However, we still need the ability to maximise the screens and content, especially for advanced users looking at details of firewall settings and connections, etc.
