Apple M1 Max 2022
MacOS Monterey 12.5
This occurred for me on Live safe, and when I upgraded to Total Protection - same then!
re "Our engineering team has fixed the issue. Kindly reinstall McAfee and let us know the outcome." - no they haven't as far as my problems are concerned - On Macbook M1Max and MacOs Monterey anyway!
Went through level 1 and level 2 support.
Apparently is new for Monterey 12.5 , but I had crashing errors /quitting on 12.4 as well
Antivirus seems to be working now after numerous clean installs - no crashed since support worked remotely on my machine and did new clean install of Total protection.
Still no VPN option - apparently they are "working on it"
No timeframe given
