Hi All,
How do I turn off these "reminders" I don't need or want? That interrupt / take the keyboard off the project I'm working in! I want McAfee to just stay in the background and only alert me if something is wrong/detected!
Cheers

Hi,
Ok I'll apply that adjustment and see if that supresses these pop-ups. If it does then I'll mark as correct.
Thank you for now.
I think its a performance penalty of buying cheap software. I did a trial of ESET antivirus and that's great because it just sits in the background and does its thing without popups. But it's expensive compared to Mcafee family plan. But because Mcafee is cheap they keep flashing stuff up that may lead to an upsell so increased revenue.
However, I did a Mcafee Enterprise trial and that also sits in the background doing its thing silently. So seems that it's the family / domestic market that gets nagged and not the professionals.
