I created an account and sent to myself a link from a Windows laptop to my iPad for a free trial of Total Protection, but logged into my Mobile app on the iPad and can’t find anywhere within the app or on the web to enter the 15-digit (not 25) activation code I got for the trial. How do I do this?

When you send the link from your account from the laptop to your iOS device and post installation, it should automatically show as Premium. You don't need to activate again. Please go to settings on McAfee app on you device and it should appear as Premium.

No, it doesn’t say Premium anywhere; in fact, it asks for an upgrade, as you will see in the pic.

if you open this document you see;
Download and install to IOS
if you click on that 2 options comes up;
install to an IOS device from the Apple store
or
install to an IOS device from a different device
but than there is also a video below that shows how to get the premium version active

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I’ve tried everything, read your posts and watched the videos. My McAfee mobile app has been installed on my correctly updated iPad Pro for some time now, and I of course have been signed in to my account, but there’s no option for Premium. My app looks different from the pics in your posts, it shows different options. The iOS instructions talk about an activation code that is longer than the one I was provided in the link for the one month free trial, and obviously it won’t work when entered. That should be entered somewhere else, I don’t know where… Thank you.

i think the best way to solve this is to contact live support so they can check the account status.
you can reach live support at;
in the middle of the page on the right side there is a button that says; talk to an expert
click on that ect.
best to contact at working days and available by phone or chat.
hope they can help you solve this and that you could let know what the problem was caused by perhaps ?
