Firewall blocking Microsoft Office 365 apps - Can't use Sharepoint or update apps and licenses

Hi,

I have just installed Total Protection, and so far not really happy. 

Firewall is jamming up every tentative connection. 

Browsers slowed down significantly and only work sometimes. Often a page returns a 'no internet' error, but after a few reloads it loads properly.

Microsoft Office 365 apps cannot communicate with the web - can't save files on OneDrive and SharePoint, and cannot download MS O265 software and license updates. 

The firewall has no hint as to which apps were blocked/granted access or a list of recent apps that tried to connect for me to just select the app and say "allow" - it's just not friendly ,and MSOffice apps should be known by the app already due to their popularity.

Turn off the firewall and voila - problems gone. But then again, why have a firewall?

Try the below steps and update us the status.

1. Open your McAfee software.
2. Click Web and Email Protection, or click the gear icon in the top-right corner.
3. Select Firewall.
4. Click the Ports and System Services drawer.
5. Enable the Port 80 - Web Server(HTTP), Port 443 - Secure Web Server(HTTPS), Port 1433 (
6. Click Add.
7. Type the following details in the corresponding fields:
    
   • System Service: Sharepoint
   • System Service category: Online storage
   • Service Description: Sharepoint
   • Local TCP Ports: 2382-2383, 32846
   • Local UDP Ports: 1434
      
8. In the Open Ports drop-down list, select All PCs.
9. Click Save and restart your computer.
